Battery capacity is slightly larger than the standard iPhone SE (3rd gen), enabled by a revamped internal thermal layout.

Design refinements include a programmable Action Button replacing the mute switch, a single 48 MP rear camera with optical 1×/2× zoom, and Dolby Atmos-tuned spatial audio.
