The starting point for The Ed Hicks Way brand originally came from the desire to create superb leather cases and accessories which we would be proud to call our own in front of family and friends alongside a distinctive visual design that would mean that a Galaxy or iPhone flip case could be recognized as an “Ed Hicks” product from across the room.
Inspiration for the look and feel came from two sources:
- the visual impact and feeling of added luxury that is given by lovely silk coloured innings in otherwise traditional up-market suits led us to wanting to give a hint of colour on the outside leading to a bold personality inside.
- a visit to The Trossachs and Loch Lomond in Scotland reminded us of the shapes and enduring dependability of dry-stone walling- exactly the same virtues we wished our range of affordable luxury accessories to boast.
The dry-stone wall has become our symbol and is seen on all Ed Hicks products including flip phone cases, wallets and card holders as well as nowdays our towels, pouches and cleaner cloths in a variety of guises- large and small, laser cut out with contrasting coloured backings or as a fully embossed pattern, there is an Ed Hicks look to suit everyone!
As part of our continued efforts to be innotative and "Daring to be Different" we
- Introduced the only Fully Biodegradable wallet flip case from the iPhone 13 and Galaxy S23 onwards so that your phone case won't be littereing the planet in 25,000 years
- are the only phone case company that "reverses" our magnetic closing tab to avoid credit card corruption
- Pack our Phone Covers in Re-Purposable Pouches- so there isn't endless cardboard to recycle or throw away. Our Pouches are ideal to reuse as soft cases cases or for storing small, easily lost, items such as earphones, cables and battery packs
As a result of this we have diversified our products to include a complete range of
- Soft Glasses Cases in a variety of designs and styles, all great to protect your sunglasses from scratches in a choice of colours taht make them easy to spot from across the room or in your car
- Premium Microfibre TV Screen and Glasses Cleaning Cloths which clean without chemicals and can be washed and reused many times
Indeed, we are now sell more of these products than our phone cases, and have become the dominant UK supplier of Glasses Soft Pouches and have a significant market presence with the Screen and Glasses Cleaning Cloth sector.
- We are looking forward to lauching our new range of Illustrated 30cm TV Screen Cleaner Cloths with overlocked edge stitching in late November 2025. As a World First, these have been created to appeal to not only lovers of great design but also to make Ideal Gifts and Presents for Football, Cycling, Golf and Rugby Fans everywhere with Stand Out Designs that will appeal to Gamers and collectors of Vinyl records.
